We currently service the transport hub, OOH media and hospitality sectors, but we are now looking to capitalise on our expertise to grow into new vertical markets such as stadia, arenas, DOOH, retail, QSR and corporate. 

We are looking to recruit a Pre-Sales Technical/ Bid Manager and an Internal Sales Executive to assist us on that journey.

Position : Pre-Sales Technical/ Bid Manager

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports to: Sales & Marketing Director

Location: Home Based/ Byfleet Office

Salary : to be negotiated depending on experience 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Take the lead on all technical aspects of the sales teams pricing proposals and costing exercises.
  • Be the “font of all knowledge” for all technical questions and guidance around the sales teams’ propositions to end clients.
  • Take ownership and subsequent lead all new RFI, RFP, tender and bid activities presented by the client.
  • Work in coordination with ADXBA internal technical team to decipher ITT/ bid documentation to understand clients brief and SoW.
  • Produce accurate BOM’s from ITT/ bid documents to then approach ADXBA vendor base and supply chain to obtain supported bid pricing.
  • Work with ADXBA design and project teams with the production of system design, mechanical design, schematics, system topology and as built documentation as required.
  • Ensure other commercial, legal, corporate compliance documentation is allocated to other team members for collation and inclusion in all ITT/ bid responses.
  • Work closely with head of compliance to ensure all compliance documentation is up to date and available.
  • Assist in the completion of ADXBA internal cost calculation sheets in coordination with the sales team.
  • Be responsible for ITT/ bid submission documentation production in conjunction with the sales team.
  • Lead all internal meetings related to ITT/ bid submission, ensuring that all actions and responsibilities are allocated in a prompt manner.
  • Ensure all ITT/ bid opportunities are entered onto the internal “Halo” CRM system.
  • Ensure all ITT/ bid documentation is uploaded onto the relevant folders on the internal Google Shared Drive.
  • Take the responsibility to provide an answer for any technical enquiry posed by existing or new clients as well as those from the sales team.
  • Continue to build long term relationships with vendors and supply chain partners by meeting F2F or via VC on a regular basis.
  • Look to attend regular technical training sessions, trade exhibitions or seminars with various manufacturers to bolster technical and technology knowledge.
  • The role will require the individual to be regularly reviewing which tender portals are best suited to ADXBA’s vertical market focus.
  • Conducting regular reviews in coordination with the head of compliance to look at necessary certifications, trainings and accreditations required to gain best traction in new focus verticals.
  • Lead sales team training sessions to strengthen internal knowledge as required.
  • Participate in marketing activities with any technical or technology bias as required.
  • Ensure that any ITT/ bid issues that require Director level escalation are brought to the immediate attention of the Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Responsible for any client product and knowledge training either on-site or remote.
  • Work closely with ADXBA on-site project delivery and commissioning team to provide technical support where required.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Previous Pre-Sales & Bid Management experience in the UK.
  • Ideally 5+ year technical experience or exposure to the Audio Visual, Digital Signage or LED industry.
  • Experience working for a Systems Integration company ideal but not essential.
  • Educated to A-Level standard.
  • CTS/ Avixa certification advantageous.
  • Previous system electronic and electrical design knowledge essential.
  • IT literate having previously worked with Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Solid Works & Google Docs.
  • Ability to work with a high level of autonomy.
  • Ability to produce ITT/ bid submission documentation to a high standard.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales.
  • Ability to manage their own time, effectively and efficiently.
  • Requires an excellent understanding of generic AV systems and equipment, digital signage, LED technology and terminology.
  • Ability to work in close collaboration with other ADXBA team members.

Travel:

This position is a home or Byfleet office-based role, but it may also require the individual to travel throughout the UK and overseas with overnight stays if required to fulfill the job role.

Position : Internal Sales Executive

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports to: Sales & Marketing Director

Location: Byfleet Office

Salary : to be negotiated depending on experience 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Receive incoming sales enquiries via telephone, email, website or social feeds.
  • Qualify inbound sales leads.
  • Work in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Director in the adoption of a lead generation program.
  • Ensure all sales leads are entered onto the internal “Halo” CRM system.
  • Work closely with the internal ADXBA pre-sales team to find best suited technology and solutions to meet client’s brief.
  • Build relationships with key vendors and supply chain to obtain best supported pricing.
  • Enroll new clients & suppliers onto ADXBA financial systems in coordination with ADXBA accounts team.
  • Ensuring purchase orders received are input correctly to the internal ADXBA sales processing system and the detail shared with the ADXBA accounts team.
  • Taking responsibility for placing purchase orders with ADXBA vendor/ supply chain.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of costing sheets, quotations and proposals to Sales Team members as required.
  • Produce various sales reporting or process templates as directed by the Sales & Marketing Director to ensure continued efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Attend all internal Sales Team meetings to ensure all meeting notes, actions and responsibilities are shared with key personnel.
  • Regularly check and update the CRM system for new sales opportunities and account management activity.
  • Check, update and amend the Google Docs Shared Drive with new sales activity and opportunities as required.
  • Produce any sales reporting requested by the Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Become the primary ADXBA contact responsible for any “house” accounts that are allocated.
  • Conduct any account mapping for these inherited “house” accounts.
  • Support all new RFI, RFP, tender and bid activities conducted by other Sales team members.
  • Participate in various marketing activities as required by the Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Ensure that any account issues that require Director level escalation are brought to the immediate attention of the Sales & Marketing Director.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • A proven history in Internal Sales/ Sales Coordination.
  • Confident with client communications via telephone, email or VC.
  • Ideally 2+ years’ experience or exposure to the Audio Visual, Digital Signage or LED industry.
  • Educated to A-Level standard.
  • IT literate having previously worked with Microsoft Office & Google Docs.
  • Ideally working knowledge of CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Sales Force, PipeDrive, SAP or similar.
  • Ideally an understanding of AV, digital signage and LED technology and terminology but not essential.
  • Able to produce Sales & marketing documentation to a high standard.
  • Ability to work in close collaboration with other ADXBA team members.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales.
  • Ability to work with a high level of autonomy.
  • Ability to manage their own time, effectively and efficiently.

Travel:
