It was a tough task with timescales, but even with 36 individual campaigns across 4 major UK airports, we created a successful Armistice message at 11am Friday! (The airports being Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester and East Midlands).

The brief was to have a 10 second message to run with current advertising copy fo 15 mins lead up to the 2 minutes of silence at 11am; A 2 minute message would play exclusively at llam, followed by a 30 second ‘Thank You’ message. Each airport had an individually branded campaign, and content was scheduled on a number of different platforms across EyeCorp’s digital inventory. These included 70″ floor standing Eyelite units, 57″ pole mounted units, their new digital baggage units, 8 and 18 screen landscape digitals and a 10m x 2m Landmark LED screen.

After technically supporting EyeCorp with a previous campaigns for ITV, Virgin and Gatwick Express, and a very successful vEYEp Event last week, the Armistice campaign continues to show the strength and ability both EyeCorp and Adxba have with dynamic, creative and versatile digital signage.

Credit must also go to Andreas from EyeCorp for the production of over 350mb of video clips for the campaigns! The campaigns are also due to repeat on sunday at 11am with new ‘Remembrance Sunday’ copy.

Last weekend ADXBA collaborated with DD exhibitions to set up a fastest penalty shot competition at Old Trafford Football stadium. The event was part of the Manchester United Fan Zone held this weekend and required members of the public to shoot at the goal whilst having the balls speed measured by a speed gun.

ADXBA provided and installed the AV equipment for the stand including waterproof plasma screens – which proved to be invaluable during the heavy rains of Saturday! We also developed software to log and display a leader board for the fastest shots, and show the most recent adverts for DHL on the screens.

The weekend ran smoothly despite brief interruptions from flash floods! ADXBA are looking forward to the next event in two weekends time.

This week we installed 10 digital display screens in the soon to open southern entrance bridge at Gatwick Airport.

The installation is the first of three tunnels at Gatwick to be re-developed, and part of a larger roll out of digital infrastructure across airports in the UK.

We are also pleased to be working with Elvis Communication on the new dynamic content for Virgin, which is due to go live when the tunnel is opened. Currently at the final testing stage, the content will pull down live XML data feeds and display different messages relevant to the data. The 10 screens will also run fractionally out of sync so the messages ‘wash’ along the tunnel from screen to screen.

We will add images of the final content when the tunnel is open to the public, but for now here’s a picture of the screens so far…

10 Screen installation at Gatwick Airport

ADXBA has just completed a refresh to the popular Go!Oldham website which helps teenagers find things to do throughout the year all over Oldham.

Moving to a more seasonal template, the current look is based on a Winter theme, which will change throughout the year to keep it fresh.

Go!Oldham’s partner area allows all of Oldham Council’s event partners to securely add their events in a single accessible easy to use system which once approved are published on the website for youngsters to navigate by Date, Location, Age and Event Type.

Going forward, ADXBA is also working closely with Go!Oldham and the Oldham Council Marketing Team establishing the best way to communicate with the teenage sector.

For a look at the new Go! Oldham Site click here.
